Campus Tours & Public Education
The Mississippi State Fire Academy welcomes prospective students, educational groups, civic organizations, and other community groups to visit our campus and learn more about firefighter training, emergency services, and fire and life safety.
Campus Tours and Public Education programs are available Monday through Thursday for students in seventh grade and above, as well as eligible civic and special groups. Because the Academy is an active training facility with a full course schedule, availability varies, and all visits must be scheduled and confirmed in advance.
Tours may include an age-appropriate fire and life safety education program, informational materials, and a guided walking tour of the Academy grounds. Visitors can learn more about our training facilities, equipment, programs, and the hands-on training used to prepare Mississippi’s fire and emergency service professionals. Special arrangements may also be available for groups traveling by bus.
