The Mississippi State Fire Academy training facility is available for public tours Monday – Thursday. Scheduled tours can be arranged for most types of educational, civic, and special groups. An age-appropriate fire safety/information program can be developed to meet the needs of the audience. Tours of the Academy grounds include a brief educational/informational program, informational handout, and walking tour of the facility explaining all aspects of firefighter training. Request for Campus Tours and Education
Please utilize the button below to provide the Mississippi State Fire Academy with information for Campus Tours and Public Education. Requests for Campus Tours and Public Education must be made a minimum of 10 business days (2 weeks) before the desired tour date. Campus Tours and Public Education are limited to students in the seventh grade and above.
We encourage any students in the sixth grade or lower to reach out to the State Fire Marshal’s Office at 601-359-1061 or contact your local Fire Department.
