| Description | This course is not a typical safety and survival course. It is very interactive. This course allows the students to measure how much progress we (Mississippi fire fighters) have made in being able to survive the dangers of firefighting. It also allows students to look at themselves and determine whether they are part of the problem or part of the solution. NIMS issues are included in the unit addressing incident safety. Other subjects include Fire Department Risk Management, Vehicle Response and Highway Safety, Keeping Training Safe, and Our Survival Challenge in Mississippi. |
