This course is designed to enhance/refresh fire fighter skills. The course uses a section of the Mississippi Volunteer Fire Fighter-I and Mississippi Volunteer Fire Fighter-II course that addresses the NFPA 1001-I standard. Subjects include: Salvage and Overhaul, fire suppression, vehicle rescue and extrication, and fire prevention and public education. In addition to refreshing skills, the course may also be useful in preparing new fire fighters for the Mississippi Volunteer Fire Fighter-I & II courses. |
