This course is designed to bring together different types of rescue subject matter into one course. It develops through realistic, scenario based training, team leader decision making necessary to accomplish rescue tactics in a safe manner. Course reinforces information found in earlier course prerequisites and seeks to demonstrate how the application of this information can be modified and applied to solve various rescue situations. Course includes: topographical map reading, compasses and their use, and overland rescue techniques, to complement other subject matter from disciplines such as structural firefighting, hazardous materials, rope and confined space rescue. |
