Admission for Fire Instructor/Fire Officer Courses (Online) 2020

Admission:

• Application must be completed online.
  • Please complete the entire application.
  • All contact information must be accurate and complete including email addresses, department and or home addresses, and phone numbers.
  • If you do not have access to complete the application online, you may complete a written application with a $25 fee.
• Course Fee must be paid before any exchange of information between instructor and student.
• Once application and fees have been processed, a copy of information will be forwarded to the course coordinator and they will contact the student with needed information.

 

• Enrollment and Course Completion Dates
• • Enrollment Period-applications MUST be in by the closing date of enrollment or you will not attend that semester.
    • 1^st Semester: Open Enrollment is December 1-31, 2019
      • Start Date Jan. 1, 2020
      • 1^st Semester Completion Date: June 30, 2020
    • 2^nd Semester: Open Enrollment is June 1-30, 2020
      • Start Date July 1, 2020
      • 2^nd Semester Completion Date: December 10, 2020
  • Applications that are sent after enrollment closes will be placed in a hold file until the next semester

  • Gulfport-March 20, 2020-9am
  • MSFA-May 14, 2020-1 pm
  • Oxford-May 22, 2020-9 am
  • Gulfport-June 12, 2020-9 am
  • MSFA-June 25, 2020-1 pm

 

• 2^nd Semester Testing Dates and Sites
  • MSFA-August 6, 2020-1 pm
  • Oxford-August 21, 2020-9 am
  • Gulfport-September 25, 2020-9 am
  • MSFA-October 22, 2020-1 pm
  • Oxford-November 6, 2020-9 am
  • Gulfport-November 20, 2020-9 am
  • MSFA-December 3, 2020-1 pm

 **Students MUST email Instructor Donny Collins dcollins@msfa.ms.gov 30 days prior to testing date to let him know when and where you will be testing.
