| Description | This course was developed to assist local departments in preparing for technical rescue situations involving entry into municipal and industrial confined spaces. The course is constructed to provide awareness level rescue information, complementing information provided in Rope Rescue - Module 4. The goal of this program is two-fold; first to standardize confined space rescue across the state, and secondly, to provide an off-campus training path for organizations to receive state certification in Confined Space Rescue, which is normally provided on-campus in a 40-hour, week long class (see page 43 for further details). |
