The 2018 Georgia-Pacific Bucket Brigade grant application period is open for a few more weeks, and we would appreciate your help in making sure eligible departments in Mississippi know about the program.
These are no-match grants that fund needed gear, equipment, and training for fire departments that are located within 30 miles of a Georgia-Pacific facility. Grants range between $1,000-$10,000 and can fund necessities such as turnout and protective gear, breathing apparatus, water pumps, hoses and nozzles, and more. All applicants also receive a complimentary Department Membership in the NVFC, courtesy of Georgia-Pacific.
There are GP facilities in the following five locations in your state:
Fire departments within 30 miles of these facilities can apply by going to www.gpbucketbrigade.com and filling out the application. The deadline to apply is July 6, 2018.
