With the recent surge of COVID-19 cases, the Fire Academy has made some changes to our on-campus student participation guidelines. Students who will be arriving on campus for courses or testing must meet one of the following COVID requirements:
- The student be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and produce a vaccination card showing such
- The student will provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taking within the 24 hours of arriving on campus.
The MSTAT test at the Fire Academy is given on the first Wednesday of each month. This test will continue to be given on campus, if a student meets our COVID -19 Policies. No overnight stays will be allowed and no access to buildings on campus will be allowed for unvaccinated students. Nonvaccinated student will be required to wear a N95 mask while not participating in the test.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but safety of our first responders is our number one concern.
